Dublin Art Glass
Restoration Glass
Prior to the invention of the Fourcault drawing process in the early years of the 20th Century, glass used in windows was primarily Crown Glass or Cylinder Glass.
Crown Glass is no longer manufactured but we stock Cylinder Glass which is almost indistinguishable and should be used in the restoration of all buildings built before the 20th century.
We also stock Drawn Glass which should be used in the restoration of buildings built in the first half of the 20th Century before the introduction of Float Glass by Pilkington’s in the fifties.
